Alex oversees all portfolios and make sure everything is running smoothly. Feel free to drop him a line with matters of commendation, concern and advice.
Vice Chair and Hiking Convenor: Simon de Wet
The person in charge of the hiking portfolio is responsible for coordinating the club's hiking events. If there any particular hikes you would like the club to do, or you are keen to start leading hikes for the club (new leaders welcome), contact Simon.
Gear Room: Kgosi Moatshe
The MSC gear room attempts to help you participate in club activities without massive cash outlay, by offering reasonably priced equipment rental. Please contact Kgosi for more assistance.
Treasurer: Maylis Bezuidenhout
Contact Maylis for any money matters relating to the club; whether it's making a payment or money owed by the club, she’s your girl.

Climbing: Andrew Court
Andrew is in charge of climbing. Contact him if you have any questions about tarting climbing, leading events, planning trips and if you want beta (information) about the local scene and areas.
Climbing Wall: Johno Whitaker

Zuurberg Convenor: Bruce Dickie
Contact Bruce for Zuurberg property administration queries such as Witels permits etc.
Conservation: Conor Eastment
Management of the Zuurberg property and it's biodiversity.
Hut and Ski Convenor: Tim Chambers

Marketing, IT & Journals: Alex Weiss
Alex is the Editor of the UCT MSC Journal. He collect articles, photographs and stories of all things MSC related and puts it all together into a annual publication released at the beginning of each year. If you want to publish a piece for the journal please contact Alex. Anything to do with branding, online communications, website, sponsorships etc, contact Alex
Socials: Richard Bettman
Richard's job is to promote the "lighter side" of Mountain and Ski Club through the organisation of enjoyment, interest and social based events. He also organises our annual club formal.
Siyenyuka: Claudia Hitzeroth
Claudia heads up Siyenyuka (together with an awesome subcommittee).
Transformation & Education: Karina De Kock
The person to contact with regards to the Development Fund and Transformation. Education falls under her portfolio too, meaning she organises events such as first aid courses, talks about snakes etc.
